While we work hard and continuously on changing our business for the better, we must not neglect our obligation to help others in need.
Children are our future, and our best hope for changing the world. But around the world, children and young adults are struggling and in need of our help.
Therefore, mbyM supports PlanBørnefonden, a Danish organisation that is part of Plan International. They work to create equal opportunities for boys and girls, ensure children’s rights and build strong, sustainable communities for the world’s most vulnerable children.
PlanBørnefonden is present in more than 70 countries and support over 70.000 children in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
They have a large focus on girls and their rights, because they know that they are often the most vulnerable. They work to change norms and attitudes in the local communities and have an ongoing effort to ensure that all children, no matter their gender, get to go to school and educate themselves.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, PlanBørnefonden have played an important part for children in some of the world’s most struggling countries. They have provided vaccinations, education on hygiene and other protective measures, as well as clean water to make handwashing possible.
