It’s no secret that we love comfortable clothing, and always strive to make better choices for our garments in general. Both aspects were highly prioritized when we developed our GG line, launched back in 2009.
The GG line consists of comfortable and soft basic clothing, designed to be worn over and over again.
All GG garments are made of fabrics, which mainly contains either TENCELTM Lyocell or TENCELTM Modal complemented with a minimized amount of elastane without compromising the feel. Both TENCELTM Lyocell and TENCELTM Modal are environmental certified fibers produced by LENZING AG.
The fibers are manufactured with significantly lower emissions and environmental impact compared to production of comparable fibers.
TENCELTM Lyocell fibers are made of wood pulp form certified and controlled wood sources. The wood pulp is dissolved in a non-toxic organic solvent, which is recycled in a closed-loop system meaning that up to 99% of water and solvents are recycled and used again.
TENCELTM Modal fibers mainly comes from naturally grown beech wood by an environmentally responsible integrated pulp-to-fiber process, self-sufficienting in energy and recovers co-products from component parts of the wood.
TENCELTM is a trademark of the Austrian fiber manufacturing concern, Lenzing AG.
